  • Exclusive Visits: Access to high-performance Chilean farms to talk with producers already utilizing the New Zealand model.
  • Cutting-Edge Technology: The Field Days fair brings together over 60 brands with solutions that are often brand-new to the international market.
  • High-Level Networking: Strengthening relationships with an international delegation of experts, associations, and entrepreneurs.

Q&A - Frequently Asked Questions

To enhance the professionalism of your landing page and facilitate delegate conversion, here is a bilingual Q&A proposal focused on the real pain points and questions of producers and investors. Additionally, I have included the lodging section detailing options in Osorno.

Here is the translation into English, keeping it professional and sleek:

More than 60 New Zealand brands—global leaders in agricultural technology—will participate, including Gallagher Animal Management, Datamars, CRV, LIC, Shoof, and Skellerup, among others. To see the full list, click here to access the Agroeficiente portal.

What is the technological focus of the participating New Zealand brands? The primary focus is pasture system efficiency: ranging from management software, genetics, and animal health to milking technologies and sustainability solutions (carbon footprint reduction and waste management).

The fee covers all local transportation for the technical visits (from April 8th to 10th) to and from Hotel Sonesta, exclusive access to farms (including Manuka operations) and agenda partnerships, as well as lunches and selected networking events. It does not include airfare, some meals or hotel accommodations.

The fee exclusively covers transportation from the Hotel Sonesta to the Field Days and other official activities within the technical program. Please note: airport transfers (airport-hotel-airport), as well as transportation to restaurants or locations outside the official agenda, are not included.

The most practical option is to fly into Osorno Airport (ZOS), which receives daily flights from Santiago. Another common alternative is to fly into Puerto Montt Airport (PMC), which offers higher flight frequencies; from there, the ground transfer to Osorno takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes via high-quality highways.

Logistics Note: Airport transfers (airport-hotel-airport) and local transportation to restaurants or other sites (outside of the official program) are not included. Transportation will only be provided from the Hotel Sonesta to the Field Days and official activities.

Accommodation is not included in the package. We recommend three primary options: the Sonesta Hotel (premium comfort and dining), the Hotel Diego de Almagro (business-oriented and well-located for airport access), and the Hotel Conrado (excellent value for money in the city center). We suggest booking in advance, as the city reaches full capacity during the event. When contacting your chosen hotel, please mention that you are a participant of Field Days Latin America to inquire about special rates.

Hotel Sonesta (Preferred partner and our logistics hub; all official transportation will depart from and arrive here): https://pt.sonestaosorno.com/

Hotel Conrado: https://conradohotelosorno.cl/

Hotel Diego de Almagro: https://diego-de-almagro-2.loslagoshoteles.com/

No. International delegations will be supported by New Zealand Government representatives, and the event will provide assistance to facilitate interaction, including simultaneous translation for all talks and discussion forums during Field Days.

To ensure an environment focused on business and high-level technical discussion. By registering for the Immersion Program, your entry to Field Days (April 8th) is already guaranteed.

As Field Days Latin America is an invitation-only event, please contact the organizers to check availability via email at: latinamerica@nzte.govt.nz. It is important to note that if your participation is confirmed as a standalone attendee, local transportation and access to other technical activities will not be included. We believe the best experience for an international visitor is the full 3-day program, which guarantees exclusive access and a 360º view of the innovation.

Due to the logistical complexity and the established schedule of the Immersion Program, it is not possible to accommodate personalized visits or meetings within the official agenda. However, if you have a very specific request, you may write to latinamerica@nzte.govt.nz so we can review your case.
